The Wood Awards is the leading competition in the UK that celebrates top-quality architecture and product design made with wood.
As a pioneer in recognising timber excellence, it has set the standard year after year. With categories for buildings and furniture/objects, the awards welcome exceptional wood projects of all shapes, sizes, and styles.
Since its establishment in 1971, the Wood Awards has maintained its integrity and longevity as a platform for recognising excellence.
What sets it apart is that it operates as a non-profit organisation solely focusing on celebrating exceptional work. The judging process involves elite panels of independent experts who conduct in-person evaluations.
This prestigious award strives to be inclusive and affordable for all, including small companies, studios, workshops, and individual designer-makers.
All selected projects are showcased at the Material Matters design fair and featured on the Wood Awards website, exposing entrants to a wide design audience.
The winners will be revealed at a distinguished ceremony held in November at Carpenter’s Hall, where they will also receive hand-crafted timber trophies.
