We have streamlined the membership process for those who wish to join as a Member of the Institute of Carpenters (MIOC).  You can pay your fee and submit your application online.

To apply online to become a Member of the Institute of Carpenters (MIOC), you will need the following:

• Payment – our current membership fee for MIOC is £131 per year.  You will need to complete payment as part of the application process before we review by our Admin team. If your application is unsuccessful, we will refund your fee in full.
• Details of your training, where you studied and any qualifications you have.
• Be prepared with a list of the areas you have specialised in.
• You will be asked to supply two references and details of how we can contact those who support your application.
• You can upload documents to support your application – it will help if you have those in .pdf format.

Please note: It can take up to 14 days to process your application while we follow up on the references provided. 

Once we have received payment, we will send you a link to the full application form via email.  Should your application is unsuccessful we will promptly refund your application fee.
