WOMA Wood Occupations & Materials Alliance
The Institute of Carpenters and the National Association of Shopfitters, working together for the people and businesses of the wood trades.
Two institutions, one alliance
WOMA brings together two of the oldest organisations in the wood trades, so that craftspeople and the businesses that employ them have a stronger, shared voice.
Institute of Carpenters
The professional body for individual carpenters and joiners – recognising skill and experience through membership grades from Student to Fellow.
National Association of Shopfitters
The trade association for shopfitting and interior contracting businesses, providing skills support, guidance and representation.
WOMA
A joint alliance for training, events, standards and influence across the wood occupations – for individuals and businesses alike.
The IOC and NAS remain separate organisations, each with its own members, governance and identity. WOMA is how we work together where we’re stronger as one.
