The highly commended prizes went to Tom Stanton, Northampton College and Joe Purslow, Bedford College.
Northampton College said of Tom’s win:
When we see our students walking in to the College for the first time, we look forward to educating and inspiring them to achieve their potential. It is so rewarding to see Tom’s journey from level 2 student to now being a staff member in a relatively short timeframe. This not only requires the right skills, but also the right attitude and Tom has demonstrated both these in his development.
I cannot think of anyone more suitable of this award and look forward to Tom’s progression as a staff member here at Northampton College.
