Reducing vibration related health issues in the woodworking industry - Nov 16, 2016
We have recently been contacted by a product design student from Bournemouth University who is conducting his final year project.
The aim of the project is to re-design an electric sander to reduce the possibility of vibration related health issues such as Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome occurring in the workplace. As a part of this research, he is conducting a questionnaire to find out what issues professionals have with current sander designs.
Please could you spare a moment or two to respond to the survey – it shouldn't take much more than 15 minutes of your time. Please click here to find out more about the project and complete the questionnaire. Thanks in advance for your time and support.
